The refocussing key
Was it the king who wrote it is the power of concentration and the ability to direct and fix attention at will that will give any situation life, or, if desired, death. Invigorating or killing off is within our gift but for the problem of our attention drifting, always drifting, like it has in the writing of this sentence. However, all is not lost, hope is maintained for we are able to return our concentration to the situation or task, and again, we are able to return our attention to the present. And it is within our gift to keep returning it. It is not so much maintaning focus, bringing it back into focus is the key.
